Begin your day at the Cu Chi Tunnels, a fascinating glimpse into the lives of Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War, just 90 minutes away from Ho Chi Minh City. Pick up at your hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. The tour guide and driver will greet you with a sign showing your full name and a warm smile.

ITINERARY

Our first stop is Cu Chi tunnels, we learn how the VC soldiers constructed and used underground tunnels, booby trips, termites mounts, trenches and the like. We also experience walking through a short distance of the original tunnels (20-50 meters).

If you are interested, we can visit the shooting range at an extra cost (15 minutes), have a tea break, and answer your questions about the tunnels.

After Cu Chi Tunnels, we will journey to the Mekong Delta (two hours away from the tunnels). I will recommend a good restaurant based on your interests.

Weave through the spectacular water coconut small canals to immerse in a magical view of water coconut trees.

Take a beautiful stroll through fruit farms and villages (1km).

Take a short Mekong tuk-tuk ride through the rustic village and its lush farms.

Visit a typical farmer’s house, where you will learn how coconut candies are made. Then tasting the delicious tropical fruits harvested from their garden while enjoying local traditional music.

Return to the waterways after a relaxed sampan boat along the picturesque canal.
